Duncan Caravans, 186 Wishaw Road, Wishaw, Lanarkshire, ML2 8ES. Date: 03-04-2013 My father in law who is now 75 years of age bought a new Bailey Unicorn Barcelona in 2011 through Duncan Caravans, 186 Wishaw Road, Wishaw, Lanarkshire, ML2 8ES. There has been an ongoing fault with the ‘Dometic Fridge Freezer’. Duncan Caravans have ‘attempted’ to undertake work through the warranty on many occasions but have ‘failed’ to secure the correct part. At present my mother and father in law, and family have been without the use of the caravan for weeks now. Duncan Caravans are blaming Dometic and their parts ordering system!! On behalf of my father in law I did talk to Alistair (28-03-2013) of Duncan Caravans, 186 Wishaw Road, Wishaw, Lanarkshire, ML2 8ES but this conversation was unsatisfactory: he had no confirmation from Dometic that the part was ordered, if and when it would arrive and when the caravan would be fully repaired and ready for use. Also Duncan Caravans would be shut over the Easter break so there would be no update till after the holiday. Did not receive any update and phoned Duncan Caravans today 03-04-2013, I was informed that Alistair was on holiday and talked Catherine/ Katherine who conveyed they were running out of ideas in how to bring this situation to a quick and successful outcome. We would be updated. On Duncan Caravans website it states: “We hope you will enjoy the purchase of your next caravan” To this statement the only reply is “No we are not enjoying the purchase of our caravan at Duncan Caravans” 03-04-2013, thought I would try and phone Bailey Caravans, the receptionist (Julie) stated that I could not talk to Customer Services and I would have to send them an email. I requested on the off chance to talk to the MD, but I was informed he was busy. Julie did eventually take my contact details and said she would get Customer Services to phone me. We shall wait and see!!!. 04-04-2013, Duncan Caravans phoned to say that a Dometic representative had had arrived but with the wrong part (you could not make up a story saga like this if you tried) yet again. I have been a customer of Duncans Caravans for well over 20 years having bought 5 caravans from them during that time. The annual services are also carried out by Duncans. Throughout this time I have always found Alistair and his staff to be very polite, professional and extremely helpful. The sales staff are more than happy to chat and advise without "pushing" a sale on you. Catherine and the workshop team are exceptionally helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I would, and often do, recommend Duncans to anyone considering purchasing a caravan

Duncans Caravans
I have been a customer of Duncan Caravans for more years than I care to remember, bought my last six caravans from them, have all my servicing carried out there and have always experienced the very best of customer service. From Alistair and the sales team (who are always happy to chat "caravan" with you without pushing a sale), through to the accessory shop staff and a special mention to Catherine and the workshop team,who all give excellent service. Would recommend Duncans to anyone considering purchasing a caravan, buying accessories or needing work done on their caravan.
